AVOID STEAM CLEANERS

Steam cleaners are cleaners that push hot water vapor into the floor. This loosens dirt and other debris so that it can be sucked up through the high-powered vacuum that often accompanies the steam cleaner. Steam cleaners are a problem for most  laminate floors because they can push water between the layers of the laminate. This can cause the layers to eventually separate and may cause you to have to replace the flooring. This will not happen after one use, but it can eventually happen if you use a steam cleaner for several months.
