Garnat Flooring opened to the Simcoe, Ontario community in 1994. Gord and Liz Vanden Beukel purchased the store in 2002 and completely updated it to provide the retail/contract/commercial consumer with a wide variety of surface selections. In 2008 the business became the first Nufloors store in Ontario. As well, a Pratt & Lambert paint business was purchased and incorporated in July of 2008.

After restructuring in January of 2008 Liz came on full time to handle the office paperwork and accounting. She also handles the Pratt & Lambert paint business within the store. Liz has found the work very challenging but finds sending away a satisfied customer very rewarding.

Gord began his career in flooring and can boast 31 years of installation experience. His 36 year floor background allows him to provide honest, knowledgeable advice and evaluate each customer needs with no hidden costs!
Showroom sales/Office administration
Heather's background is in office administration. She provides assistance in the office and on the sales floor, handles event planning and any special projects, and generally helps out wherever needed.
Showroom sales/Warehouse manager
Mike's combined installation experience, product knowledge and outgoing personality allow him to provide top notch customer service. Michael still installs on a regular basis and his specialty is custom backsplashes/tile installation.
