Peter and Ria Schell moved to Slave Lake in 1970 and 3 years later started a flooring store. The first store was started in a “little house” on a commercial lot with the garage serving as the warehouse. As the business grew, the store moved to different locations. The 2 sons, Mark and Wayne worked in the business and eventually bought the store. Schell's Carpets began a relationship with Nufloors 7 years ago and are proud to be a Nufloors location.

Co-owner/Manager
Mark has been in the flooring retail business for over 30 years. He started as an installer and later left installation to help his parents run the business. Mark has a wealth of knowledge and enjoys providing his customers with any information that they may need, when deciding on their flooring choices.
Ria Schell
Greeter
Ria has been in the flooring business for 30 years. She enjoys being busy and spending time with family.
Tracey
Sales Associate
Managing the office and sales accounts is where you will find Tracey. She has been here for 5 years and enjoys working with the staff and customers.
Wayne Schell
Co-owner/Manager
